MicroSets Privacy Policy

MicroSets is a local-first workout reminder and tracking app. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
Information MicroSets Handles
MicroSets lets you enter and store:
- Profile details used for workout estimates, such as username, height, weight, reminder count, reminder window, tone preference, and selected workouts.
- Workout logs, including exercise counts, timestamps, estimated calories, streaks, and progress statistics.
- Weight entries, if you add or keep them in the app.
- Notification permission status and local reminder scheduling information.
How Information Is Stored
MicroSets stores app data locally on your device. MicroSets does not require an account, does not operate a backend service for user accounts, and does not send your workout profile, workout history, weight entries, or reminder settings to MicroSets servers.
If you back up your device through Apple services or transfer your device data, your device backup provider may handle app data according to its own settings and policies.
Notifications
MicroSets uses local notifications to remind you to complete short workout sets. Notification scheduling is handled on your device. You can enable, disable, or change notification permissions in iOS Settings.
Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
MicroSets does not use third-party advertising SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell personal information.
MicroSets does not currently use third-party analytics services.
Health and Fitness Information
MicroSets is a fitness habit and tracking app. Calorie values are estimates based on workout inputs and general calculation assumptions. MicroSets is not medical advice and is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified healthcare professional.
Data Export and Deletion
MicroSets stores data locally on your device. You can delete your local MicroSets data from inside the app by using the reset option in settings. You can also remove local app data by deleting the app from your device.
If you contact support, any information you choose to include in your email will be used only to respond to your request.
Children's Privacy
MicroSets is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as MicroSets changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
